And so it begins

So, I'm into the last couple of months now before I set off from Land's End (that's in Cornwall) and head up to John O'Groats (Scotland).

I'm off in May, and training and preparations are going pretty well. I guess my main concerns are:

• Finding a cheap way to stay in touch online when I'm in the middle of nowhere.
• Picking a good route out from the choices on the web put there by the many helpful people who have done it before.
• Learning a thing or two about camping and stuff.

And if no-one accidentally releases any foot and mouth in the next few weeks, everything should be peachy.
