Back to it and a great first day. Met a fellow hiker and enjoyed a
brief wander together across the Mendips, spotted apparently wild
goats, and then stormed up to Bristol for dinner with Kiran, who is
joining me for a week. Good to be back.

If you saw the goats in Cheddar Gorge they were sheep! They live wild on the slopes and like to run in front of cars.
Just felt I should drop by and mention that I was that 'fellow hiker'. Pleased to see my name in lights (I would say 'I don't get out much', but as a full time walker that doesn't really hold much weight!)
Keep up the steady progress man. You're doing (if you won't think me rude) surprisingly well for a City Boy!
