Crossed the border today. Stood briefly at Carters Bar (no bar - I'm
withdrawing patronage) but moved on fast as rain lashed down all day.
Have come indoors as kit needs the full service if I'm to continue in
this weather, ninja laundry operation in progress. Odd that this
morning Geordie accents were standard and now its all Scots. The first
helping of neeps and haggis can't be far off, and this is the weather
for it.

The team are thinking of you in this terrible weather. I hope the sun comes out for the weekend. I hope the foot rot hasn't set in yet and you can't walk long distances in wellington boots.
Keep up the good work. I will go and have a drink on your behalf tonight. Denis is now threatening to quit his job and come and finish the journey with you.
